Name: Gloire (means "glory" in french)
Pronouns: He/They
Backstory:
Growing up from a long line of crafters, Gloire had a passion for jewelry making and blacksmithing from a young age, often spending most of his waking hours learning, reading and practicing the craft. He lived alone with his mother, being an only child and having lost his father at a young age, so he often helped his mother with the jewelry shop she owned, doing tasks from greeting customers to making his own jewelry sets. His mother was tasked with keeping things in order and most importantly, gathering resources such as pearls, precious minerals and metals which she preferred to find herself.

One day she left to gather stuff, leaving Gloire to tend to the shop, but after weeks of waiting, she never came back. Gloire never heard from her, and has yet to find out what has happened to her. Without his mother to help him, he gathered what was left of his home, the shop and from their savings, and set off to leave the place that now brought only sad nostalgia. Wanting to make a new life for his own and perhaps to find out what happened to his sole parent, Gloire set off to the world, taking life day by day. He eventually met Quelea the Taigrin and accompanied her on her quest to see the rivers of Ark.

Personality: Kind, selfless, polite, dedicated and soft-hearted.

Gloire is a Narlock with a big, big heart-- he cries often in movies, he does everything in his power to help those in need, and he has a soft spot for anything remotely cute. He wants nothing but to spread joy and happiness in the world, even at the cost of his own.

He is courteous, always treating others with respect, even if they step over him. He gives people many chances (sometimes too many) but will get truly hurt when he fully realizes someone has been taking advantage of him.

Fun facts:
- His mother was a very giving person and only kept enough funds for her shop, food and "one emergency". The rest, she gave back to friends and people in need. Gloire tries to do the same when he can.

Gloire is a very known crafter,
Armor, jewelry or weapons, he is the master.
He lived alone with his mother,
He was always with her and no other,
But one night she left and never came back.

Today he lives with Quelea the Taigrin,
His past is long behind him, but there is still pain.
One day, a Tine named Eikona met him,
Eyes crossed and love bloomed,
But a horrid truth turned their story quite grim,
To separate, they were doomed.
Distance between them grew,
To see if their love was true.

About Narlock Eggs

This egg was only available in Egg Cave's Cash Shop Park for April 2013.

Narlock eggs have to remain upright in water in order to hatch. The fins on Narlock eggs assist in this.

About the Narlock Creature

Narlocks, by themselves, are feeble creatures. However, they maintain their strength in numbers and by sticking together. Narlocks have acute hearing, which give them the ability to hear any Narlock cry across several miles. The "Narlock Cry" is very loud and let's fellow Narlocks know to assemble at the source of the cry. Often times, the Narlock cry is used in times of danger.

A swarm of Narlocks is a force to be reckoned with!
