Quest mini-guide
Disclaimer: I'm no expert at quests. I sporadically complete them out of boredom.
1.Where to look for items (in order of importance):
Your Strongroom (checking there first may save you some EC)
•The official shops (in the "shop" drop-down list): Official prices, usually lower than user shops, but you'll have to wait until they restock, which might take some time.
•The user shops: Usually, you'll find the items you need here, but they might be pricy.
2.Item types requested, depending on which quest you chose, and the official shop
Baked Bun Quests: The Bakery
Going Global Quests: Travel Agency
Gourmand Quests: General Food Store
Miserable Meltdown Quests: Finley's Flavors
Spped Reading Quests: Leila Library
Toybox Quests: Toy Shop
3.Tips
•Visit the ~Quest Items Swapping Thread!~, there are kind users in there who might lend you a hand in finding items.
•If a quest item is either too hard to find, or you're too impatient to wait for a restock at an official shop (like moi) or is over 20K EC on an user shop, cancel it. The item prizes are usually around the same value of the items bought (~2-5k), though you might get a valuable item sometime. I recommend this even if you're questing for tokens for creatures at the VEND machine, to save you some time and EC.
•Whenever a shop restocks, try to buy at least two of the same item - some NPCs may ask for the same item twice (I'm looking at you, Manjul.)
4.Users that specialize in selling a certain type of item:
muppet - Books
united_states - Ice cream
(thanks, @s101_side_icecloud for the two above!)
lunacharm1037 - Books
5. Final words:
•The VEND prizes are selected at random. You may or may not get what you want. But at the same time, trying to get a creature there may be way cheaper than trying to trade for it.
•Also, I hate you, Hamilton. And Manjul, too.

(by the way, check out my shop!).

More inquiries? Anything I forgot to add? Post on my wall or PM.

About Onnekas Eggs

The patches of green on the Onnekas egg's fur are actually a rare form of moss that only grows in a very small part of Ark's jungles.

This moss, to regular houseplants, is considered an invasive pest. Be careful not to allow it to root in your houseplant's pots!

About the Onnekas Creature

Onnekases, as babies, start out as adorable balls of fluff that entirely conceal the growing infant at their core. Because of such an excessive amount of fluff, their field of vision is extremely limited. That means that baby Onnekases frequently run into objects and fall of ledges. This makes them quite helpless; they require a caring and watchful eye to develop to maturity without harm.

Mature Onnekases love skipping and hopping around the meadows and grasslands outside of Ark City. They are known for harvesting four-leaf clovers that they find and enjoy returning them to their owners for good luck.
