21-22 Jun 21:
Thank you SO much to @nitromegamer / @quinn for doing this trade with me. Since my very first week this has never stopped being one of the creatures I've wanted most on EggCave.

Named for a character with a brief appearance on 9-1-1. Season 2, episode 2 '7.1' (and supposedly 2x3, but i never seen that one.) (Sorry football fans, it's not named for *that* Marvin Chavez.)
It was this character that drew me into the show in the first place. I love that character so much i was always wishing they'd bring him back. (Slim chance once they cast the actor in the spinoff. Which I am grateful for, but it's not the same. I LOVE the spinoff, but the character, not so much.)
He was so absolutely like a come-to-life version of an RP partner's character that it was shocking. I couldn't believe it. Then she watched it and was in awe too. We became instant obsessed fans of the character.
(And her character is based off someone else's AU version of an existing movie character. 50,000 EC to the first person who can guess who the movie character is! PM me 'Odraz guess'.)

(The character and thus the person it reminds me of is bittersweet. A friendship that imploded like a supernova. But while it lasted, it was one of the best times I ever had in my whole life.)

About Odraz Eggs

An Odraz egg is a highly reflective shell that is mirroring back the color spectrum to you. Thus you see it as a rainbow, although at first sight you might think the egg contains multicolored pigments. It's a common misconception!

About the Odraz Creature

Odraz skin cells don't contain any pigments. It isn't pigments that generate its rainbow-like appearance. Rather, this rainbow appearance comes from the fact that hatched Odrazes, like their egg form, are mirroring back the color spectrum to you at a high frequency. In fact, Odrazes are mirroring back more colors than the eye can see. Odrazes' colorfulness, thus, is limited by our ability to only see a finite range of the color spectrum. But they are still quite breathtaking in any case, right?

Odrazes change the configuration of their mirroring effect quite frequently, often depending on their mood. A more red-orange appearance indicates that they might be angry, whereas a blueish appearance indicates sadness.

Because Odrazes change their mirroring regularly, a lot of Arkians find it difficult to keep track of which Odraz is actually "theirs" because the next time you see yours, it might look totally different. It's best to use tags around their neck so you can identify your Odraz in a couple of hours! You don't want to lose yours!
