The colors of this egg are very muted and often blend in with the tree branches and tree trunks of the Forest. These eggs are difficult to spot as a result.
Sadmuths are among the most stationary of all moths in Ark—the least animated and the least excitable. The name Sadmuth comes from the two words "sad moth." They also do not react to bright lights during the dark nights. Little is known about this species and what motivates it. Some scientists are surprised at how its able to survive because of how little drive it has.
