Zarpard eggs can be found nestled in crevices high in the mountains of Ark.
Zarpards are solitary creatures who make their homes primarily above the treeline on Ark's mountains. All Zarpards have a magical ability to increase the snowfall in a radius around them. They use this ability to devastating effect when hunting. When it begins to snow a Zarpard will emerge from their den and begin the hunt. When it finds prey it will use its ability to turn even the lightest snowfall into a blizzard in the area around their prey. Blinded by the rapidly falling snow the prey is unaware of the nearby Zarpard until it is too late.
