Because of this nomadic nature and knack for hide-and-seek, its existence was initially dismissed as a mere tabloid hoax chased after only by cryptozoologists. An Ajanoid clumsily tumbling into an active badlands quarry is what finally validated this extraterrestrial species to researchers.
Coursing deeply through the veins of every Ajanoid is an unadulterated concentration of molten Ajanite, an enigmatic element recently discovered to be inextricably linked to the very building blocks of life itself. This miraculous mineral is arduously regulated by an intergalactic agency founded by Ambassador Thrakhis, diplomat to Ark and commanding officer of the visiting Storticai, to curb its unauthorized collection and prevent misuse.
