Most first-time Trenka owners are startled when they discover a Trenka's cycle of life. Trenkas go through a yearly process of death and rebirth. A Trenka's appearance becomes quite frightening when it nears death (Trenkas shrivel and become very weak). A lot of first-time Trenka owners think that they've done something wrong or have unknowingly killed their precious creature. But rest assured that Trenkas come back to life every spring with the rest of creation.
