How do you submit them to Ian? Like what category, or is he not taking suggestions right now?

You submit by clicking the "Contact Us" link at the bottom 😊 Though chances are really small that your idea would be picked, because Ian gets tons of creature submissions.

Currently you would need to submit a ticket to Ian Under "General", to get to the ticket submission place, just go to "Contact Us" At the bottom of the screen.Although Since Ian gets thousands of creature Suggestions, he can only pick so many. I think he normally picks the ones that are really unique and awesome. Though even if your's doesn't get picked, this doesn't mean that Ian didn't like it. This could mean that someone else suggested it, or maybe it wasn't unique enough. It doesn't mean it's bad though 😊So, even if you do suggest something, this doesn't guarantee your idea will get made.
