Cove attempts on storages? need help ASAP :(

I am thinking about starting a storage account, but there is a small problem:

Is it okay if we attempt to get eggs from the cove on our storages? if not, then how are we going to send over eggs from our main?

We aren't allowed to use our tries on storage ONLY if you already used your tries on your main.

so if i used 10 attemps here, i can't use any there.
But what if i use 8 here and 2 there?
or if i use the mysterious asteroid attempt there and not here?

@phoenix in ALL of your accounts, the total amount of your cave tries can't be more than 10. its in the blog somewhere.
