Tommy "Chong" {Cheech and Chong} Death Hoax?

I just got a notification on Facebook by a friend saying Tommy Chong from the movie Cheech And Chong passed away at 77 by cancer. I clicked the link and it's unavailable. I have looked it up on Google and it says nothing about it and it's a hoax like last year. I finally foia website to see if it's true but it says "Alive" and he's 78 because he was born on 05/24/1938. Could this be another hoax?

I got another notification about it on Facebook and got more information. It's a hoax. *shakes fist at sky* as we all know, he is battling cancer. I don't understand why someone would make a hoax like that to someone who's battling cancer. Isn't he going through enough? He's a legend and a rebel. Please don't fret, hoax or not, he'll get though this!

He's a strong person.
