I always put snacks out for my local squirrels (there are three to four that I see), usually plain unshelled walnuts. I got some mixed nuts with shells and put some out, as per usual. A squirrelfriend came by and took some; I opened the window to add more. --
-- Skittish squirrelfriend was leaving, then a squirrel maybe 200 ft. in the distance saw me. I made squirrel noises and showed a giant walnut in the air, then dropped it, and the squirrelly came RUNNING! Straight to me!! And grabbed one of the nuts!! It was SOO cute!!! ❤️
