From what I've heard the Untamed particularly draws out the drama/"bromance" elements (of course they wouldn't end it on tv how they do in the novel, sigh....). For me, the donghua seems to focus on the action, at the expense I feel of the mystery elements, so it's all different.

A little... too much haha ^^ There's definitely some good crack and music video edits and I shouldn't bring up my deep dive into its fanfiction here and fanart! Being used to 2d depictions makes the live action leap hard generally, but I'm glad it seems well done~
