soprano • 30 Dec 2018, 10:08 PM

and Toccata and Fugue in E minor. Just in case you’re curious of listening lol

soprano • 30 Dec 2018, 10:07 PM

...at the same time XD As for my diploma songs, Thanks haha! There are many intermezzos/sonatas/toccatas by the same composer. There’s usually a number, but naming the key usually leads to the song I’m referring to. The songs I’m playing are Intermezzo in A (major), Sonata in Eb,

soprano • 30 Dec 2018, 10:02 PM

I’m sure you’re heard parts of Beethoven’s 5th and 9th Symphony (aka Ode to Joy), which sounds pretty good. I also sure you lnow Fur Elise, but idk if you like it 😋 For me, it’s one of my favorite songs to play on the piano cuz there’s a lot of cool runs but suits my tiny hand..

soprano • 29 Dec 2018, 10:24 PM

I’m currently preparing for a diploma exam, so I’m not exactly sure if my recommendations are the most suitable XD But atm I’m playing an intermezzo by Brahms, a sonata by Haydn, and I’m currently learning a Toccata by Bach 😋

Lizst’s songs sound pretty good, except when he composes, he uses the range of almost the entire piano. He can also play 13ths (i can only play an octave max per hand 😋 ), so his songs are generally known for being hard to play.

soprano • 29 Dec 2018, 7:29 PM

...and really just any song by liszt. Have you heard of La Campanella? (It’s pretty famous for being hard) My hands hurt just from listening to it 😋

soprano • 29 Dec 2018, 7:27 PM

I feel like I enjoy romantic period music because it has quite a heavy texture, but sometimes playing romantic pieces can be a pain for my tiny hands XD (since it has lots of chords and stuff). The romantic period also has some of the hardest pieces like etudes by chopin and...

soprano • 29 Dec 2018, 7:16 PM

The piano is the only instrument I play, so I’m playing that in the orchestra. My teacher usually combines 2 brass parts (onto the same score ofc) for me to play because we don’t have a lot of brass players

idol • 29 Dec 2018, 12:04 PM

Hi! I am interested in your Pendence ^^
might I possibly have anything that interest you here or @Hatake?

soprano • 29 Dec 2018, 6:02 AM

I don’t have an exact favorite, but I do enjoy playing pieces from the romantic period. I’m actually also in orchestra, but just because we don’t have a lot of brass players so I’m filling in XD

soprano • 29 Dec 2018, 2:52 AM

Haha yes soubway XD I play classical pieces btw ^^ do you play any instruments?

soprano • 29 Dec 2018, 2:09 AM

But srsly I’m actually surprised that we watch a lot of things in common cuz I think the stuff I watch is usually a bit obsecure lol 😋

soprano • 29 Dec 2018, 2:08 AM

You know, if we can talk about this slowly, we can talk about this quickly 😉

icesparkle22 • 27 Dec 2018, 10:11 AM
