I don't think the US has started doing it on a large scale, but basically calling people with Covid and asking them about where they've been / who've they've met to figure out how it's spreading and who might be infected

the drifting classroom by Umezu is veryvery good. Tsutomu Nihei does more cyberpunk stuff, not much of a plot, but still visually appealing
