The last one is alright, but I'm not a fan of the other three.

I mean I love the idea of getting cash shop exclusive travels, but I just see no increase in quality or something, compared to the travel shop. Not really a big fan of the travels all that much. I guess I don't really feel like they are locations/places? kinda just props.

i agree with above comments! (not that i use travels at all, but) the last one is pretty neat, but i feel like a lot of new cash shop travels have stock image vibes and aren't that appealing as backgrounds for creatures. I feel like there's so much potential with backdrop art!

Very interesting

I think the others said it perfectly. They looks nice as art by themselves but I'm looking for stuff to really pair with my creatures.

the first one is my favorite out of them all. agree with others as well.
seraph • 6 Oct 2020, 8:54 PM
oh man the two in the middle are really poorly drawn eh
pwuffy • 6 Oct 2020, 9:17 PM
i have to agree with the above comments ^^; although i think some months are much better than others...

@sparklefox @stefrawr I agree. I like the first and last.

Not a fan ☹️ I was really hoping to get something good. When you put a travel on a creature the middle is what gets covered up and in these that’s where the detail is. I think these should be scenes not pictures. I’m ok with the las one though

Recent cash shop travels are more based off looks and themes and not destinations...I liked the beach-themed ones.

I don’t really use travels, but these are... okay, I guess

I don't really like them to be honest. Sorry Egg Cave Team, that's just my opinion.

not so fan...

what do you all not like about them? genuinely curious! ❤️ please share your thoughts.

@ian it seems the ones that appear more like scenery get better reception! when it's a 2D item in the center of the travel it gets obscured by the creature a lot of the time and probably also look a little busy. personally, my favorite kinds of travels are ones with perspective-

-and depth (Eastern Highlands comes to mind 😊) or ones with a pattern/theme that isn't a specific item, that focuses the attention on the creature still (thinking about Purple Bubbles or the galaxy travels)

I think the main thing about the recent ones is that too much attention is focused on the center object in the travel (except for Witchy Cupboard) and they look a little 2-dimensional. thank you so much for being open to constructive criticism! ❤️
