Post-Halloween celebrations!

November 3, 2010 at 2:38 PM

Whew! Halloween was quite a busy time, but it was a TON of fun (especially at Egg Cave).

In case you didn't notice, all of the Halloween Bash creatures retired from the Cave October 31 at 11:59:59 pm ECT. But, to keep the fun going...

All Halloween Bash creatures will be available in the Cash Shop Park through November 10. After that, they will become permanently extinct and will never be re-released again. We're doing this in case you didn't get a chance to get all of your favorite creatures (or enough of them) in the Bash.

NOTE: Grubbugs are not available in the Cash Shop because a glitch kept them in the Cave after the Bash was over. There are plenty in circulation.

I want... a... another snail ^-^

jhanterre • 4 Nov 2010, 6:12 PM

Oh yes!!! Totally a bigger cove!!! I can't wait!

jhanterre • 4 Nov 2010, 6:12 PM

You want another Snawler? Or another species of snail?

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:13 PM

@nvr4evr1 That would be awesome. I just hit 80 today and I don't want to have to give up any of my babies in order to get new eggs. 😊

crooton1 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:13 PM

I wish there would be like, customizable caves and stuff where you put your eggs.

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:14 PM

@croton: Omg that would be awesome! 😃

nvr4evr1 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:14 PM

There's also going to be a breeding center! 😃

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:16 PM

Breeding center? Dang. Wonder how that is going to work.

jhanterre • 4 Nov 2010, 6:18 PM

Maybe like the one in Virtuadopts?

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:19 PM

Never played virtuadopts so I don't know how that works. I just know how breeding works in Dragon Cave.

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:19 PM

hey, if i tell someone i fed their featured and ask them to feed mine, is it spamming????? 😱

jhanterre • 4 Nov 2010, 6:20 PM

My aunt has an account. You put in a Male and Female pair of a species and some money per creature and they stay there and possibly make...

jhanterre • 4 Nov 2010, 6:20 PM

a baby. @thepells4 if you fed their creature first then no.

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:20 PM

Whats dragoncave? must be like eggCAVE. XD has anyone noticed the CAVE thing? XP

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:21 PM

@jhanterre: ok thanks! 😊

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:22 PM

http://dragcave.net/ It's a little similar to egg cave, but also very different. Its also been around a lot longer.

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:22 PM

ok, ill try it! 😃

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:23 PM

http://dragcave.net/user/orderedchaos <-- Example of a dragon cave scroll.

frescotux1o1 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:24 PM

I'd like a fluffy brown teddy bear with a ribbon around his/her neck for a Christmas egg ^^ I would name it Billy if it was a boy 😃

jhanterre • 4 Nov 2010, 6:24 PM

yeah what orderchaos said 😉

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:24 PM

oh shoot i cant make an account.. i have to be 13 or older... XD

jhanterre • 4 Nov 2010, 6:28 PM

I think if you have parental permission its okay... I'm not sure though...

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:28 PM

ok, ill try again.

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:30 PM

yay, i got through! just to check my email...

jhanterre • 4 Nov 2010, 6:34 PM

*waits for thepells4 to come back so she can give them hatchery sites and the IRC address for chatting*

jhanterre • 4 Nov 2010, 6:36 PM

actually I'll go get my aunt to do that... she's more into all that stuff than the rest of us 😉

merlin7576 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:37 PM

ello egg cave, hey is it spamming if you post a link on some1 elses profile and tells them to post on there profile who they want you to fed

merlin7576 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:38 PM

or saying fed featured and then saying link?

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:40 PM

dragon cave seems too confusing, can somebody help? how do i hatch them? http://dragcave.net/user/thepells4

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:40 PM

@jhanterre I never used the IRC except for coordinating a couple of trades. I mostly lurk around the forums. 😊

merlin7576 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:41 PM

I think im gonna going drag cave!!

taffy789 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:41 PM

click[/272787]

taffy789 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:42 PM

Is that how you post links????? I'm conufused

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:43 PM

@thepells The eggs hatch with views. Most people use fansites to get the views/unique views need to hatch.

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:45 PM

http://forums.dragcave.net/index.php?showtopic=89465 <-- There is a list of all active fansites. I'd suggest only using one or two.

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:46 PM

Otherwise your eggs might get sick and die. There is also a nice FAQ in the Help section of the forums.

merlin7576 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:46 PM

Hey people is it fine if you have parental permission but are under 13 for dragcave

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:50 PM

@orderedhaos:is there any way that you can post for me? And an you view/click my dragons? http://dragcave.net/user/thepells4

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:54 PM

@thepells Go here, http://dc.makegames.de/ Click "manage scroll", enter your scroll name and you can add all your eggs.

merlin7576 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:54 PM

will some1 answer me please

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 6:54 PM

I'd also suggest going to the DC forums and at least reading the FAQ in the Help section. It answers a lot of questions you might have.

merlin7576 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:56 PM

ok thanks

thepells4 • 4 Nov 2010, 6:59 PM

@corinida: i just accepted aid on my account, so can you help my eggs? my first egg is just plain and light blue.

taffy789 • 4 Nov 2010, 7:04 PM

cricketory • 4 Nov 2010, 7:14 PM

:U meh

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 7:18 PM

Perhaps too much talk of other sites killed it. 😊

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 7:23 PM

Hmm, good question. I'm in the same boat myself, and I can't decide either. Though I do have it narrowed down...

Orderedchaos • 4 Nov 2010, 7:24 PM

...either a Mummar, Halldrag, or Hallowolf.
