For the second stage, I'm sure that is Ninetales's exact pose in one of its in-game sprites o-o

I just checked the sprites and it's really not, though. It's a generic sitting canine pose.

Ninetails is based on a Kitsune. It's not the only multiple tailed fox in existence.

Guess it's just me, haven't played my games for a while now. It's no criticism either way, as Ninetales is one of my favourite Pokemon.
