well, what do you think? we'll get new christmas/winter travels befor christmas or not? i hope so^^

icymuffin • 6 Dec 2011, 7:32 PM

Mmm~ The rarity won't be all too useful for trading though... although the Ecorth is one of the rarest, it's not too popular or anything :/

sophia123 • 6 Dec 2011, 8:06 PM

i think i never get the really rares like florn, foo, tine ever.i have some cc's but i love them and wont trade them...really a big problem^^

vampire666 • 6 Dec 2011, 8:18 PM

Maybe this will help some of the newbies. 😋

dragonfriend • 6 Dec 2011, 8:18 PM

Onny is pretty low D:

ginna3525 • 6 Dec 2011, 8:18 PM

good night egg cave

ilovedogs • 6 Dec 2011, 8:30 PM

Im sorry but the Mo has ben the rarest for a long time and i think it sould stay that way, seriosly a 93....

wispa • 6 Dec 2011, 8:31 PM

I don't really like the new rating system in the archives ☹️ - but that is just my own feelings.

ilovedogs • 6 Dec 2011, 8:39 PM

I think i know what happend Ian based it on how manny there are in game so if the mo has 93 that means people take better care of Mos

wispa • 6 Dec 2011, 8:39 PM

seems like some of the numbers are off to me. a Garguaith rating is 89 but a Eeriek is 176 ??? I mean yeah they just came out halloween but

wispa • 6 Dec 2011, 8:40 PM

the Gariaith is an egg cave common and can be gotten any time... just doesn't seem right to me..

syndrome • 6 Dec 2011, 8:52 PM

@wispa the rating is based on how many of the species is alive.

cricket • 6 Dec 2011, 9:01 PM

@wispa Garguaith aren't very popular I think, and when there is a really awesome LE creature, some people cheat and get a bunch on sides. :/

metaphor • 6 Dec 2011, 9:04 PM

I actually think this helps prevent abuse, tbh, or at least puts creatures values in perspective and shows how high in demand doesn't

metaphor • 6 Dec 2011, 9:05 PM

necessarily = highest in rarity. It's still up to the traders to make decisions based on what they think is fair and what they are

metaphor • 6 Dec 2011, 9:06 PM

looking for, just as it has always been.

jewelz • 6 Dec 2011, 9:10 PM

Not one person in a whole week! has offered on the lot for my frozen Peeturk egg

yogurt • 6 Dec 2011, 9:19 PM

Just because it's low doesn't make it any rarer then it is. Maybe it's low because not many people liked it. 😉

thursdays_dove • 6 Dec 2011, 9:23 PM

I still think the value of the species will be subject to each person's perspective. While an Onny is certainly more rare than a Seiren-

thursdays_dove • 6 Dec 2011, 9:23 PM

-I would still never trade my Seiren for an Onny, because I love my Seiren. It's different for everyone.

yogurt • 6 Dec 2011, 9:28 PM

I don't really like this new update. It's just going to make newbies misunderstand and offer Garguaiths on Eerieks XD (Just an example)

yogurt • 6 Dec 2011, 9:30 PM

Then the oldies are going to get mad and quit and people start begging for creatures and BAM! I'll be quitting too. :b

icymuffin • 6 Dec 2011, 9:40 PM

Like the Ecorth~ Low number, but no demand for one.

cubexline • 6 Dec 2011, 9:48 PM

@yogurt: Probably not just newbies, older users may try to do something similar, I dont like this either :l

harrypotter123698 • 6 Dec 2011, 9:57 PM

Anyone wanna check out my New years idea? 😊 http://eggcave.com/forums/topic/11130

Zac • 6 Dec 2011, 10:08 PM

I think people are getting thrown off by the label. While it is the "rarity," it only is representative of the AMOUNT.

redfire77 • 6 Dec 2011, 10:08 PM

this is so cool! just really weird, though... lots of common creatures are really rare XD

Zac • 6 Dec 2011, 10:09 PM

It should be used as a resource to take into consideration when making trades. It wasn't meant to be the defining quality of a fair trade.

dragonkeeper • 6 Dec 2011, 10:46 PM

oh I have to qeck this out

potato • 6 Dec 2011, 11:11 PM

lol my goblar died .__.

balletninja • 6 Dec 2011, 11:34 PM

Makes sense, but because it IS weighted don't you think it should be based off current trades? An onny trade wise is worth more than a clous

balletninja • 6 Dec 2011, 11:40 PM

I like this but I rather have tiers than numbers. It makes it complicated, more than it should be. My concern is this will mess with the tc☹️

peppermintcowboy • 6 Dec 2011, 11:44 PM

@zac - It represents the amount? But the Storticai's number is 11... yet I have 13 in just my accounts alone. o.O

balletninja • 6 Dec 2011, 11:49 PM

@peppermintcowboy not how many are alive in general xD like out of 500. 😊

peppermintcowboy • 6 Dec 2011, 11:56 PM

Oh. :-|

wolfmilk • 6 Dec 2011, 11:57 PM

I'm eating a hotdog.

crescentfeather • 6 Dec 2011, 11:58 PM

Wha...? Adarnas rarer than TINES!?! Oh joy. *waits for newbie beggars to arrive*

redfire77 • 7 Dec 2011, 12:31 AM

@peppermint its weighted. a ratio or something XD

jewelz • 7 Dec 2011, 1:12 AM

^-^ LOL yea me too 😋

blackrose_chan • 7 Dec 2011, 1:53 AM

rarity is not really helpful. I would like the thing to change view of your avatar. 😱

darkskyazray • 7 Dec 2011, 2:22 AM

Not helpful, but a nice idea. - And I wish you could keep your backgrounds, if you change them. Or a Travel-Trade-Center.

blackrose_chan • 7 Dec 2011, 2:38 AM

@darkskyazray trading travels would be so much easier. I'm not so sure on the "keep the travel once you take it off" it might not be fair.

novrain62 • 7 Dec 2011, 3:10 AM

if i spent 35k ec on a travel i want to keep it and use it on who i want

novrain62 • 7 Dec 2011, 3:12 AM

travels over 25k should be a re-usuable resource - so we can keep them and take them off of creatures wanting to be traded .. my opinion

darkskyazray • 7 Dec 2011, 3:27 AM

@novrain: Nice idea with the travels.

peppermintcowboy • 7 Dec 2011, 4:05 AM

I like that travels are a 'one time only' thing. Aren't they suppose to be like vacations ('travels') our pets take? You can't keep going -

peppermintcowboy • 7 Dec 2011, 4:07 AM

- on a vacation over and over and over if you pay only one time. 😋

dionaea • 7 Dec 2011, 4:42 AM

Maybe in this case it would have been better to copy Neopets (how horrid D😊 and just make a list of how many of each pet are around, the

dionaea • 7 Dec 2011, 4:43 AM

term 'rarity' makes it kind of confusing... Plus I'm curious about absolute numbers too. 😸

novrain62 • 7 Dec 2011, 4:53 AM

lol @peppermintcowboy - gawd! why not? I want to take a vacation to Italy over and over and over again and only pay one time hahaha
