...people get more from the cave or as the non-immortals die off.

alone • 6 Dec 2011, 3:29 PM

Anyone have a nogar UFT?

Orderedchaos • 6 Dec 2011, 3:30 PM

@nanami I wouldn't be surprised if its coded to change the number every day/week or so. Probably around 3 am when evolutions/deaths happen

whitefall • 6 Dec 2011, 3:32 PM

It won't change rarity, because when trading, rarity and popularity are taken into account. So stop whining guys 😋

deu • 6 Dec 2011, 3:32 PM

The three rarest creatures: Ecorth, Doovoo, Macbot! 😱

whitefall • 6 Dec 2011, 3:33 PM

Whoa, I want my Macbot back! 😈

nanami • 6 Dec 2011, 3:35 PM

@orderedchaos that would be cool, but if not we have a little problem 😊

Zac • 6 Dec 2011, 3:40 PM

Check out Egg Cavern for an exclusive sneak peek at one of the December Cave eggs! 😱

Zac • 6 Dec 2011, 3:41 PM

I very much love this update. Thanks, Ian! 😊 It doesn't surprise me that Onnys aren't uber-rare, they are just in high-demand.

heichou • 6 Dec 2011, 3:47 PM

Aww the Prath is cute but i dont like the Christmas wreath on his back, thats too much ^^

syndrome • 6 Dec 2011, 4:02 PM

I need a bellato now, its the rarest of the three Christmas monthlies.

Orderedchaos • 6 Dec 2011, 4:03 PM

@pirateseaz For now. 😋 It will get less rare the more people buy them.

syndrome • 6 Dec 2011, 4:03 PM

Onnies are the same rarity as raskoons O.o ????? I don't get how this rarity thing works.

Orderedchaos • 6 Dec 2011, 4:05 PM

@pirateseaz Its based on how many of them are alive. Not on how desirable they are. So the fewer there are of a creature the smaller...

Orderedchaos • 6 Dec 2011, 4:07 PM

...its rarity value will be. That's why the christmas cc's will get less rare as dec. goes on. More people will buy them...

syndrome • 6 Dec 2011, 4:07 PM

Oh, its going to be difficult to trade now. I see a trade now that someone is wanting something really good for a raicorn cause' its rarer.

syndrome • 6 Dec 2011, 4:08 PM

... than a roo and stuff 😋

Orderedchaos • 6 Dec 2011, 4:08 PM

...adding to their population. So their rarity number will decrease until January when you won't be able to buy them anymore.

nanami • 6 Dec 2011, 4:13 PM

@pirateseaz for me the rarity only shows how much the Eggs are loved or how much have survied until know, i never would trade a Onny for...

nanami • 6 Dec 2011, 4:14 PM

... a Raicorn or a Ecorth ^^ and anyways i trade only for the creatures i like and want ^__^

Ian • 6 Dec 2011, 4:41 PM

P.S. rarity stats are updated live, based on the amount of alive creatures on Egg Cave...

dreamer • 6 Dec 2011, 4:59 PM

Rofl. The tasma rarity is 412. xD

lizardfeather • 6 Dec 2011, 5:03 PM

I like how it's live =) But I think a star or something should be added to the archives info on the super-rares, as a Tine is likely worth

lizardfeather • 6 Dec 2011, 5:03 PM

more than a Bragon despite the numbers xD

dionaea • 6 Dec 2011, 5:04 PM

Nice 😊 I was hoping for something like this 😸

dionaea • 6 Dec 2011, 5:15 PM

And about the 'actual rarity', the rarity isn't the only thing that determines the value, it also depends on supply and demand, so an Onny

dionaea • 6 Dec 2011, 5:16 PM

is still worth much more than some of the ones which have even higher rarities, simply because there are few FT and many want them 😊

dionaea • 6 Dec 2011, 5:17 PM

@Ian I'd love it if you could make a separate rarity for 2009 Balrogs 83 I'm so curious how rare those are 😊

taffy789 • 6 Dec 2011, 5:28 PM

Hehe, Luvlies have a raity of 23. ❤ī¸ *Huggles Lucen*

silverserpent • 6 Dec 2011, 5:28 PM

@dionaea I'd like to know that too. 😃 (Since I have one.) x)

yael • 6 Dec 2011, 5:32 PM

Lawl i didn't relise my side had first comment

dionaea • 6 Dec 2011, 5:34 PM

Lol my Ecorth are rarer than those ridiculous Gobblers *smirk* 😸 @silverserpent Me too *huggles Xylonymus*

kagirl21 • 6 Dec 2011, 6:04 PM

Cool 😃

sophia123 • 6 Dec 2011, 6:04 PM

i see it like much other users... i want creatures i like, if rare or not isn't an important fact for me...

sophia123 • 6 Dec 2011, 6:05 PM

eg i don't like macbot AND doovoo!yes, that's true, so i'll never trade my "not that rares" for one of them^^

brookie • 6 Dec 2011, 6:16 PM

This is helpful. 😊 Now where are the cave creatures? ;D

rosey77 • 6 Dec 2011, 6:19 PM

Oh my goodness. MY CREATURE WAS MADE (check out eggcavern.net)

thursdays_dove • 6 Dec 2011, 6:41 PM

O.o *goes to investigate this*

thursdays_dove • 6 Dec 2011, 6:42 PM

@rosey77 - OMG It's adorable!! I LOVE KITTIES!!! I'm gonna get a bunch. AWESOME IDEA! 😃

sophia123 • 6 Dec 2011, 6:44 PM

@rosey77 how cool! hope it will be released as cave creature near christmas^^

dionaea • 6 Dec 2011, 6:49 PM

Hmmm, I kinda wish the wreath and santa claus hat weren't there... ☚ī¸ But it's nice 😊

adrirose • 6 Dec 2011, 6:53 PM

I'm back! 😃 Yayyy! 😃 Even though all my cash eggs died and no-one knows me xD Oh well...I 'll just start over 😊

luv • 6 Dec 2011, 6:54 PM

That's so great!

yogurt • 6 Dec 2011, 6:58 PM

Gobblers are rarer then onnys..... >8D Wha??... haha

gvantsa • 6 Dec 2011, 6:59 PM

The lower the number the rarer it is or something?

sophia123 • 6 Dec 2011, 7:03 PM

yes low nuber means high rarity (hope it's written right^^)

sophia123 • 6 Dec 2011, 7:03 PM

ment number

dionaea • 6 Dec 2011, 7:07 PM

@yogurt And Ecorth are rarer than Gobbler 😸 Finally justice 😊 maybe we should eat some of them turkeys to up the rarity >:]

ninja • 6 Dec 2011, 7:09 PM

And I watch in dismay as the entire trading landscapes shifts again. Not that I have anything to trade anymore :/

yogurt • 6 Dec 2011, 7:10 PM

@dionaea I'm not gong to use the rarity in the archives. My trading ways will change too much. Haha
