Yeah, LotR is much better (except for the first and last 50 pages, maybe)... 😋 The Hobbit is for children after all. The plot is simpler.

Eep. Novocain has never worked on me. A couple months ago I got a woodchip under my fingernail. They had to cut the fingernail off to get-

I read the Hobbit when I was 10 or 11 and read the Lord of the Rings (both unabridged) right after. I thought they were the best things ever

He couldn't feel it since it was numb and he was all hopped up on hospital drugs. It was pretty hilarious. His mom was FREAKING tho.

Yah I hate it when my mouth is numb. Did it bleed a lot. I've never gotten a tooth pulled and I hear it bleeds a lot.

Or a cavity filled? Of course mouths can go numb. Ad it sucks. I hate it when my mouth goes numb at the dentist.

@plookle It can. It'll bleed a lot right after the teeth come out and will slow down to about a trickle after a few min.
