On behalf of all of us at Egg Cave...
This Easter season is going to be the best ever at Egg Cave! Starting off, the Easter 2011 creatures have been appearing in the Cave... behold: the Flunny, Chocob, and Yubby!
And... the highly coveted and superrare Easter 2011 Cash Shop Park creatures have also arrived! Here's The Beautiful Blu and The Sheep Species Sheap (try saying that 5 times fast!).
But wait... there's even more! The Travel Agency has some new Easter-themed locations you can Travel to!
Oh, yeah... I heard something about an Easter Egg Hunt beginning Monday, too... things are just getting started. :o
Happy Earth Day 2011, Egg Cavers! The Tray is now available in the Cave.
The Cash Shop is also sporting two new Earth Day creatures too: a very unique type of squid and "Ecorth"!
All Earth Day 2011 creatures will be available through Monday, April 25, 10:00 pm ECT. Enjoy!
We have modified our rules regarding multiple accounts at Egg Cave. Please see the updated Terms of Service. The "Multiple Accounts" clause has been modified to this:A single person is permitted to have up to 4 total accounts, where one account is the main account and the other three accounts are storage accounts. Among these four accounts, you may only visit the Egg Cave 10 times per day. Users who visit the Cave more than 10 times per day from their accounts will be disabled and deleted immediately.
The Town Hall has received a little update. In the past, creature renames were based on the number of renames you've done in the past 30 days. This confused a lot of users.
Now, renames are determined on a monthly basis. You can now rename your creatures 10 times a month and it'll reset on the first day of every month. Also, in light of this change: your renames for the month of April have been completely reset, regardless of how many you've used in the past 30 days.
The Mysterious FAQ Signpost has been updated accordingly.Up next: Earth Day and Easter celebrations (the EASTER EGG HUNT!) and creatures! You won't want to miss it!
The Rosse is the first creature on Egg Cave to ever receive a "redraw."
Very little has been known about Rosses in the past, but the Science and Research Center has discovered much more about Rosses, which has been published in The Archives.NOTE - If your Rosse is still displaying the old artwork, please clear your browser cache (and then refresh the image) or wait 24 hours.
The Jester liked playing tricks on you all! It, apparently, likes to disappear from its owners and then reappear! Ahh!
It seems that this creature likes to play jokes on people? I wonder what this means!
