Egg Cave is quite the happening place! Visit our blog for the latest updates on everything new that we add to the site — new creatures, exciting worlds, account updates, and unique activities to do!
As a part of the Halloween Bash, we are beginning version 2 beta registration today. We will be accepting a limited number of beta testers, however... 300 to be exact.
You can register to become a beta tester in one of two ways: Twitter or Facebook. For Twitter:
The reason why we're having beta registration through Twitter and Facebook is to boost awareness that we have these social networking pages. :)NOTE : You must follow us or become a fan to be accepted. ALSO: just because you posted your username on either Twitter and Facebook DOES NOT guarantee you a beta spot. How do I know if I've been chosen? If you've been chosen, a box on the right-hand side of every Egg Cave page will appear saying that "you're registered for beta." ;)
Send us your message as soon as possible! Beta spots will go really fast. ;)
AHHHHH!! GRUBBBUGGG ATTTTAACCKKKK!
You might need some repellant.
Additionally, the Archives have been updated. The Science and Research Center took a while to find the evolution points for several of the creatures... Terron are still completely unknown, however.
The limited-edition Cash Shop Park Halloween Bash creature is now available. It will be available only through Halloween.
FINAL GLITCH RESOLVE: If you obtained your Mummar from the Cave, please submit in a ticket said you did so. Additionally, if you purchase a Mummar fair and square before 26 Oct 10:30 pm ECT, you have been reimbursed 500 CaveCash. <3 This has all been made right. Send in a ticket if you have any questions.
The Halloween Bash at Egg Cave has begun and will last throughout all this week! All of the creatures release for the Halloween Bash will be only available for this week; then the magic of Halloween will cease and they will become extinct.
We'll also be keeping you updated on the BETA for VERSION 2 throughout this week. Instructions will be posted soon as to how to become a beta tester.
Now... to begin: what a better way to start off the week with a magical pumpkin-like creature? Can you obtain one?
P.S. -- The Science and Research Center in Ark City is still trying to figure out why the Ghosty of Year 1 (Ghosty) was in that previous mass email...
Version 2 beta starts later this month! Stay tuned!
Thank you for your patience and I continue to develop version 2. Let me tell you that is most certainly is looking AWESOME and you all will love it (I think you'll particularly like the new worlds, status updates features, and forums the most).Beta testing will start soon. We'll be choosing beta testers through our Facebook page and Twitter. ;) More instructions on becoming a beta tester are coming soon...
Can you find the new Taigrin?
Version 2 is still viciously underway! It's take a LOT longer than we anticipated.
Sorry for the downtime yesterday. Something happened with our web panel caused the server to crash.
We are so excited to release version 2. The reason why there have been slightly less blog updates is because we're saving all the new features for version 2, so it'll be even more amazing. :D
You guys rock! Egg Cave Community forever!
We've been working tirelessly for the past several days trying to fix the mysterious egg evolution problem that has plagued Egg Cave on the new server. We finally found the issue just now and CREATURE EVOLUTIONS HAVE OCCURRED and will occur in the future. Sorry about this nasty server bug!
Thanks to all of you who submitted in tickets letting us know about this! Hopefully something like this will never happen again. All views, clicks, and feeds that have occurred during this "evolution problem" have been tracked, tallied, and added to your creature stats.
NOTE: If you're still seeing old evolutions, refresh the page and/or clear your browser's cache.
If you're seeing this message, you're viewing Egg Cave on the new server. We moved (again) to prepare for the massive version 2 expansion we're forecasting. :D
