--Guide to Auction Sniping--

Disclaimer: Kind of a rant, so that's why there's sort of a tone going on. 😋 I also based it on a guide that another user made (@poptarts, I think?), so don't credit me for any of this.

Hello young one; you are here to lean how to auction snipe, am I correct? Sniping is an art that takes some practice, but soon you'll be sniping creatures left and right.

The first rule of auction sniping is to have a large sum of EC on hand. This is so, young one, as sniping is an art with millisecond timing and calculation.

The second rule of auction sniping is to be on a computer. This is critical to sniping, as mobile is too slow and hard to control, as well as a whole host of other problems. When in doubt, use a computer.

The third rule of auction sniping is to have three to four tabs open, preferably on split screens. You see, young one, having multiple tabs open gives you multiple options on the amount of EC to bid. The first tab should be there to observe the time left and bids, and the others for varying bid amounts.

Now, my young apprentice, we reach the process. Once you follow all the rules, proceed with the steps:

1. Find the auction you want and bid. Wait until someone else bids and continue to step two.
2. Check time left and set an alarm for 15 minutes before the end, so you can prepare.
3. Once the alarm goes off, set up your screens. You should have three to four screens; one should be your observer, and the rest with different bid amounts.
4. Calculate your bid amounts. Your lowest bid should be higher than the next minimum bid. If the creature is very valuable, having 1 million above the current bid is recommended. Your highest bid should not be too high, but high enough that you can pay, but others might not bid as much.
5. Refresh your observer tab and change your bid amounts if needed.
6. Wait until the 10 second mark, refresh, and bid on another tab accordingly.
7. Refresh at the 7 second mark and bid on another tab accordingly.
8. If possible, refresh at 3 second mark and bid accordingly.

If you follow these steps, young one, you may just be the next auction sniper for people to yell at. But, hey, you could always sell the creature for twice the amount to them, right?

About Battyrus Eggs

This creature is endangered.

The colors of this egg shimmers like gold.

About the Battyrus Creature

Battyrus (pronounced bah-TY-rus) are a unique species of bat. They can only function when it is light out. If there is no light, Battyrus have to hibernate immediately. Otherwise, they'll die. It's as if they draw their source of energy from the sun. Battyrus enjoy being alone and hunting large amounts of insects in the jungles of Ark.
