The shell of Ardeidor eggs are of a beautifully vivid lavender coloration. The feathery appendages that protrude from the top of the egg are considerably sensitive, gathering information from the environment to help approximate the most appropriate time for the Ardeidor to hatch.
The Ardeidor is a carnivorous species of bird which enjoys spending its time near the deeper bodies of water throughout Ark's wetlands. Its diet most commonly consists of various fish, amphibians, and lizards.
Although tracking one down is shown to be consistently difficult due to its camouflage, the Saurogapi is a popular prey item on the Ardeidor's menu.
