Elifi the Aal

The creature looks at you sadly and opens its mouth. A slow humming emerges and it speaks softly to you.
"Name Taigrin," it whispers, a melodic tone to its voice. You shake your head, wondering how it changed its voice, or if before, that was even its voice. As soon as you look up again, the creature has disappeared but a note floats in your direction.
If need help, say name it says and you look at it for a moment, feeling guilty, and then you tuck it in your pocket, bringing your winter coat closer to your body. After a couple of moments, you start to ration will yourself about the survival needs you have to use. You slowly start to get up from behind the tree and as soon as you face the blizzard, a coat of snow lathers onto your eyelashes. You wipe your face on your glove and feel a tight prickling as ice transfers to your face. A slow rumbling starts to echo through the ground and your feet are quickly swept from underneath them and you cry out in surprise as you fall to your back. A slight crackling of light whips around you and you look around frantically. You shut your eyes tightly and try to remember the name of the snowy cat creature, but fail. When you open your eyes to peek, a long snout looms over you, its eyes moving around quickly. A yellow mane goes down its back and you can see yellow lights on a green body flashing out in the dim light. It inspects you for a moment before opening its mouth and as it closes its mouth, a bellowing roar comes out of it and the snow around you starts to shift. You scramble backward as on the mountain above you, the snow starts to come off in sheets. The green eelish creature disappears in the snow and you scream as the snow overcomes you, and pushes you off the mountain, the snow following suite.
