About Cyprinus Eggs

Cyprinuses lay their eggs in the deepest parts of the Ark River. It is rumored that colder water hatches Cyprinus eggs faster, while hot water inhibits and slows their growth. Despite this, Cyprinuses can hatch in both temperatures of water without any developmental damage.

About the Cyprinus Creature

Cyprinuses are regarded as among the most beautiful and colorful of the freshwater fishes in Ark. Although they are coveted for household aquariums around Ark and are very expensive to purchase, they reproduce abundantly in the wild.

So, why are they so expensive if they are so abundant? This is because Cyprinuses are protected by the Town Hall and government in Ark City. Cyprinuses may only be caught from the Ark River during winter months at the peak of their hatching season. The rest of the time, they must be released back into the river.
