About Sweetoth Eggs

Hmm? What’s this? There’s an egg in your chocolates!

Sweetoth eggs are commonly found in a box of chocolates bought for you or another person. They start very small and only start to grow when removed from the box of chocolates. At first, they are about the size of a chocolate, which is the cause of Arkians mistaking the egg for the treat itself. Those who bite on the egg are rewarded with a painful jaw ache from the extremely hard shell.

Strangely, these eggs are only found in boxes that are used as gifts during Valentine’s Day. The Science and Research Center in Ark City tried to determine how exactly these eggs appear in a sealed, packaged chocolate box, but no conclusion was drawn. Most suspect it was "magic."

About the Sweetoth Creature

The Sweetoth's shell is edible once the creature hatches. These moths often offer their shells to the owner as a gift of love, therefore making these creatures the perfect surprise for an unsuspecting Arkian opening their chocolates. The creamy shell tastes like a thicker version of the kinder surprise, and the minute it is consumed the Sweetoth forms a lifelong bond with you.

The patterns along its back are very vibrant at first, and as it grows, the patterns fade into dreamy pastel colors. A chocolatey scent follows the Sweetoth everywhere, and the tiny furs on the creature are one of the softest furs there are. These little moths are known for a soft, whispery song carried by the breeze. The singing is the loudest on Valentine's Day, where the pleasant music serves as romantic background music.

The Science and Research Center in Ark City has determined that when their owners are depressed, lonely, or having trouble sleeping, the cocoa aroma grows stronger. After plentiful research funded by Sweetoth owners, the SAR Center determined that a lavender-like fume drifts from the soft blue patterns, promoting vivid dreams and peaceful sleep. They also found that the pink patterns are the cause of the chocolate scent wafting around the room. The scent was found to contain minuscule particles of endorphin and serotonin, almost as if the aroma was vaporized chocolate, therefore increasing one’s happiness level.
