Hi, I'm here to collect the nifty creatures (not all of them.)

- I've been playing virtual pet games since at least 2004 (the oldest evidence I could find was a post on the Pet of the Day forums that introduced me to it.) I stumbled back into the web world of it when browsing Neocities and stumbled upon @citadark 's page. I instantly was in love with the Tasma.

- I like all sorts of animals, but canines (wolves, dogs, foxes) are my favorite. I also have a soft spot for the oddballs that people tend to not like as often such as crows, wolverines, skunks, and opossums.

- My favorite season is winter. I love nature. I love snow, lightning in snow, the Aurora Borealis, skiing, hiking, camping, and tornados (from afar... have had a few too many close calls while storm chasing.)

- I used to be a book worm, but later in life I've been watching TV. Either way, I'm a sci-fi/fantasy junkie.

Fav digital games:
'Flash's Bounty' is LIFE - Been playing it when it was for PC only. When it became available for tablet I started playing it almost every day.
'ENSO' - It helps clear my mind and get rid of my headaches when I'm overwhelmed. Sadly the last tablet I had it installed on died. So wish they would bring it back!
R.i.P 'Flower House' - I think many here would have liked it. 100% cooperative, 0% competitive. (You could get by in solo mode, but it was much more fun and easier to make progress interacting with other players. So fun giving and receiving gifts! Hmmm... It was sort of like a laid back version of the chocolate exchange.)

Obey Me - flirty battle card (with Demon dance battles) (maybe I haven't poked around enough but I've been playing since Sept 22 and still have no idea why it's rated 21+. Maybe they're just being extra cautious.)

- Have been playing tabletop and online RPGs for about 20 years. (Tabletop: mainly played sandbox games built off of Marvel rolling rules. Online: started in YIM in 1999, most recently am on sites dedicated to storyform.)

- Used to love drawing, poetry, and photography. Hoped to someday try my hand at digital art. Also enjoy fiction writing as the mood strikes.

- (And Yes, I'm old; but I never wanted to grow up. And one of my deepest convictions is people should always make time for having fun in their lives no matter their age.)

- Location: * I haven't played in almost a decade due to not having access to reliable internet; but I miss it every day. / Real: United States - Eastern time zone
(Which may make you wonder why if I'm in the US that I use Dy/Mo/Yr. I always thought using d/m/y would make more sense. When I found out it was a real thing, my mind was blown. So aside from on legal forms, I adopted the date format that most of the rest of the modern world uses.
I'll spare you my rants on DST or fluctuating # of days in a Mo. )



The ability to code leaks out of my brain VERY fast. If I'm not using it nearly every day I have to relearn it over again. (And until now it's been nearly a year since I put it to use.) Please be gentle on me.

I have a plethora of mental and physical health issues.
For varying reasons I ...
- Might not reply in a timely manner.
- Forget that we have a trade in progress or that I didn't actually reply to you (I probably composed one in my head a few dozen times.)
- disappear for weeks or months at a time (but I still do daily log-ins.)

Since 2019 I've suffered from a neurological condition that makes it hard to remember things, even the meaning of words, to grasp things physically, and positive emotions are quite foreign to me now.
Please be patient and understanding. Things take me a lot of time to do, and I have days I can't filter my reactions (I try to make it a habit of practicing kindness the way I used to just *be*, but some days the fury gets the best of me. I apologize ahead of time if I lash out.)

By the time I realized this site is not OCD friendly and that there were huge social requirements, I had already become too enamored with the creatures to back out.
And this is seriously the most welcoming, inclusive community I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of in all my years online. There really is something truly special here. ^^ ❤️

I probably won't ever use (much) color in my profile or posts just in case there are any colorblind users on the site. (I had a colorblind friend in HS and it really stuck with me. (At least he had the gray scale variant and it didn't make some colors invisible, just gray.)
