A shooting star fell to Earth. It lay there, unable to do anything. It became very sad. It wept and wept, wishing to be back home among the other stars. Its tears soaked the soil beneath it. As the once magnificent star’s bright light began to wink out, from the soil came a small green sprout. It grew, and all the while the dying star’s faint light shone on it. There was a black cat which would always come around and check on the star. It would also care for the plant. It would give it water and everything it needed to grow. As the sprout grew bigger and bigger, it resembled the black cat who had cared for it. However, instead of being black, it shone with an image resembling the galaxy in which the star had fallen from. Upon seeing this, the star became happy again. And when all light finally flickered out, it died while being able to look upon the place in which its life had first begun.
But the spirit of the star inhabited the plant. And Kittyway was born.

Kittyway, sometimes referred to as Starchaser or Comet, is not very active yet. He is still growing and it is up to his owner to keep caring for him. Occasionally the small starry cat will venture out of its pot, and though Kittyway does not yet have the gift of sight, he can sense things even without seeing them. Regardless, he never is gone for long, and most of the time stays in the comfortable soil of the pot which is his home.

About Ruum Eggs

Imprinted on the surface of Ruum eggs are different galaxies and solar systems that are light years away from Ark. Astronomers and astrophysicists at the Science and Research Center in Ark City have actually used collections of Ruum eggs to build new star maps of the universe. The star maps on Ruum eggs, from one to the other, actually fit together like pieces of a puzzle. They interlock and overlap.

About the Ruum Creature

Ruums are jokingly referred to as "space goo kitties" because of their ability to move and collapse like liquid. Ruums love fitting into containers of all shapes and sizes: vases, pots, glasses, mugs, and most of all... cardboard boxes. Why spend a ton at the Toy Shop when a box will do?
