Mariamourettes are known as the "opposite of love." Instead of love being freely given or taken, Mariamourettes represent love with strings attached. All Mariamourette are controlled by their puppetmasters and have no will, thoughts, or ambitions of their own. This sort of approach to living, combined with its almost-maniacal smile and insincere wink, often leaves passersby with an uncomfortable feeling.
