About Mystic Eggs

Mystic eggs have a small crack at the right corner, which allows the creature's tail to peek out. This tail acts as a small radar that can detect larger-scale vibrations from oncoming creatures. If the tail senses danger, it'll dig a hole for the egg, bury itself, and only resurface until it's on safe ground again.

Naturally, there is a healthy Mystic population in Ark. The flip side is that they're easy to lose.

About the Mystic Creature

Mystics are untouchable creatures. No one has seen the face of a Mystic creature yet. There is much debate about whether or not the Mystic face is a mask or is indeed the creature's true face.

The mysterious face of the Mystic causes many people to be afraid. Because of this, Mystics are often lonely creatures that rarely interact with humans or other creatures. But if you can muster up enough courage to befriend a Mystic, it will be loyal to you until the end of its life; Mystics long for true companionship.

But since Mystics still experience long-term lonely, they often decide to wear a cloak (like clothing) to hide the cracks that appear on its face as it grows. It is believed that Mystics do this to make themselves appear less scary to potential human owners.

Mystic creatures also have very long and sharp nails. These nails can cut through anything, including titanium and steel (other metals have not yet been tested by the Science and Research Center). However, Mystics rarely use their nails to start or win fights; they only use their nails when provoked by a predator. Despite their friendly attitude towards others, it is still said that you should never provoke a Mystic because their nails contain a debilitating poison that can cause serious health problems for up to 10 years.
