Addendum 2025:
I don't support any kind of war. Just because half of my family has roots in Israel, does not automatically mean I agree with anything negative Israel is doing or has done. Lots of countries are doing both good and bad things, lots of countries are not perfect, lots of countries can appear evil -- because most countries have both good and bad people. A whole country is not bad, but some of its people can be. Please don't group me with negative actions just because I express pride of where part of my family heritage comes from. Please don't be racist.

I wonder why this creature gets more clicks than others... sarcasm...
So, I get why people use the word "Israel" to sum everything up, even though I don't like it, or didn't like it, because I think I don't mind it now cuz I get it but it still kinda sucks. But, It's easier to just say that! Like, what else are you gonna say, to sum up the whole of who is doing what. I just hope everyone can acknowledge that it's not everyone in Israel or everyone who is Israeli to any degree, Jewish, etc. that is evil. It's just that a lot of evil people are IN Israel and/or ARE Israeli, and they have such power, etc. Same goes for other countries. I'm not trying to detract focus from Israel necessarily, I just want people to keep in mind that powerful evil is in control in many places, including the US. There are things I like and dislike about many countries. And those things were, obviously, done by humans, the good and the bad. Anyway my bottom line is that I understand why people are so mad at Israel and why it's easiest or best to simply use the country's name when referring to what's going on, but, please don't be mad at ALL people associated with Israel in any little way. Everyone is their own person. I don't want to be treated differently because people think I am Israel the effing country. I'm not. I'm someone who DOES NOT LIKE anything dealing with such senseless violence and the most heinous things you can imagine. I used to want to go to Israel on birthright. My mom (who isn't Jewish, my dad is) never wanted me to go, always saying, "It's too dangerous!" I'd mention it year after year. I never went and I don't want to go anymore. Because I'm scared, nervous, and just grossed out too. I, myself, don't want to be affiliated with this country anymore. I feel scared, and sad, I feel like people hate me even though I didn't even do anything. This is just a small part of who I am. It doesn't define my actions or views. But anyway... this is like if it was the 40s and you met a German and you felt a negative way towards them just because they're related to Germany in that way, if you get my analogy. They could be a just fine person and absolutely oppose whatever is going on, so it's not fair nor kind to them to treat them any sort of way reflective of what you're unfairly affiliating them with.
