I think in the "Search" section we should have a species search part. Right now there's "Users" and "Creature". It would be really helpful for people who are looking for trades. I know a lot of people are Tine-hunting, and it's kind of hard because some people don't put their UFT creatures in the Trade Center.

Also, users have been saying that they don't want their creatures to get spammed and there are some ignorant, evil, selfish people that would click and feed creatures so they hatch/evolve, so it has been suggested that there is a "Hide From Search" section so users' creatures don't evolve/hatch if they don't want them to and if they don't want spam.

Just a thought.

MOST OF THE FOLLOWING SUPPORTERS ~ONLY~ SUPPORT IF THERE IS A "HIDE FROM SEARCH" OPTION. THANKS!

No. People would search up the species, look for the eggs and hatch the rare ones.

@pegasasu
Exactly what I said...
Rude people would search the species, find the egg forms of rare species and hatch them.

@toy

People can always report users who feed their eggs just to hatch them

@pegasasu
Ian won't switch the eggs back to egg stage?
So what's the point in reporting after the damage has already been done?
Plus people can log out and feed so they don't know who did it.
Or another person can put that egg on Yarolds.
Lots of people here on Eggcave are so selfish.

@toy

I haven't seen that before O_O But I suppose it could happen. There is always freezing, too, but some people don't like spending CC. I didn't know people were that cruel >.<
P.S. What's Yarold's

I agree with @toy
I mean, that happened to me once & that user ignored my request to stop feeding my egg and it hatched D: I was out of mind mad. Saved that creature for months & there was no problem 'til that user found the egg... ;^;
Byebye Eyleymo egg Dx

And some people might become really annoying by going up to every single user of a certain creature & persistently ask all the time

@toy Maybe creatures searched up could be un-feed/view-able?

@pegasusu I think I already made a topic about this, but... it's dead now, so I guess it doesn't matter πŸ˜‹

@toy There could be a "hide creature" option?

@toy UGH I know what you mean. Someone kept clicking on my Nogar egg and he was really close to hatching so I finally froze him, and as soon as I did, they stopped clicking on him. -_- And to @pegasasu, I disagree. If they wanted to trade the egg, they'd put it in the TC. A lot of people want my Onny, and if they could just search him up, I'd get tons of begging spam. :/

I don't like this idea, because of the reason explained by Toy and because some people don't want to be bothered about their creatures all the time. You're allowed to be a member just to have eggs and not really participate in everything else, you know. :/

EDIT: About people not putting their UFT creatures in the TC, maybe they're like me and saving them for when they really want something. If I'd put all my "tentatively UFT" creatures in the TC I'd be swamped with offers I just don't care for. So I simply don't say which I may be willing to trade anymore until I know what I want. I tend to offer instead of put up trades.

The idea would be really useful if you wanted to find someone with a creature and ask them to trade, but for the same reason it could end up being really annoying.
Also I agree with @toy.

Yes this is a good idea 😊 Although it might present problems to some people who aren't trading pets >.> Maybe a "hide from search" function as well if users don't want to get spammed lol

Not a good idea.
Part of the fun of eggcave is finding pets that are even UFT.

Plus, think of how many more beggars there will be once they can single the species out.

And Toy and Icy and both right. With views also being a factor and usually the people who have egg stage eggs are not as active, so by the time they come online to click the "hide" option, the egg will already be hatched D:

I agree with you guys, I think there should be a "Hide from search", which would probably hopefully be a solution to the problems the search species would provide 😊 I'll add that
