Glaciar growls and stands up. 'I just don't think they're both ready to become apprentices yet, Shadow.'

'I know, Glaciar... We don't have enough work around the camp though. And, without a flower, we'll have to bring them out of their kit playfullness WHILE we're training them to become warriors.' Shadow says, thinking very carefully.

foxkit and redkit go to the medicines cats den to see if she needed any help,trying to prove that they were warriors.

Twilightfur smiles at the two kits and pads around, moving her herbs into the storage den for the night. 'Yes, actually, I do need some help.' She smiles again then stops and acts surprised, making her eyes all big. 'Why, Foxkit? Redkit? Is that YOU? Why, you two have gotten so, BIG!' She grins then goes back to working.

Twilightfur pauses for a moment, looks at them, shakes her head, and motions to the herbs lined up on the wall. 'Go ahead and take those down for me. I need to move them.'

'Ahhh... Thank you, sweeties.' Twilightfur smiles and dances around them, singing softly. She starts moving the herbs into the storage den then stops, turns to the two kits, and smiles softly, 'Come along... Warriors. I need help from two strong foxes to move all of these herbs into the storage den.'

'ummmmm we arnt warriors yet,but,ok!'redkit and foxkit picked up some herds and followed twilightfur to her den.

Twilightfur sighs, knowing that the compliment wasn't taken. She goes back to singing.

'I'll be right back...' Shadow says, padding away. She enters Twilightfurs medicine den and calls out to her. 'Twilightfur?'

'Ahh! Hello, Shadowclaws!' Twilightfur says upon seeing Shadow. 'What do you need today?'

'My head is in pain.' Shadow says, wincing at every noise.

'Ahh... Okay. One second...' Twilightfur goes rooting through her herbs and finally comes back into the den, holding a bowl of crushed herbs. 'Put this under your tongue. The head pains should be gone soon.'

Shadow does as she's told, and sighs in relief.

'Okay, ShadowClaws, you are done.' Twilightfur says, smiling.

'Thank you, again, Twilightfur.' Shadow nods to the two kits and leaves.

Twilightfur turns around and clicks her tongue, 'Okay, you two, back to work!' She smiles and starts working again. 'You know, ShadowClaws was, and is still my best friend...'

'Back before you two were born, Shadow and I were just Warriors. Shadow was one of the best, though... Her mentor took a lot of pride in her, and it seeme that that pride crazed her. One day, when we were in a battle with another clan, Shadow just went... Crazy. She started attacking foxes, left and right, no matter if they were in her clan, or not. Well, the battle ended, and we soon found out that Shadow had killed her mother, her sister, and her mentor...' Twilightfur pauses, swallowing back tears.

Twilightfur continues, giving the two kits a small smile. 'After Shadow found this out, she was devestated. She went into shock for several days. After she recovered, she gave up being a warrior, and started all over. She instead went onto the path of becoming a leader. She told me once that, to make it up to the clan for her mistake, she'd become a great leader. So, that's how Shadowclaws, changed into just, Shadow...' Twilightfur finishes, and goes silent.
