Monthlies.
We always know when they come out.
No suspense at all.
Worst part? They take up other ideas that could just be released every-so-often.
It's taking what I used to love about Egg Cave away.
Don't you agree?

I've actually been on this site for about 2 years now, and all my good creatures died ): I miss old Egg Cave. It was more fun, where everything was new.

I Agree,
There are so many new CCs. Too much. I'd rather two basic eggs and then 1 new LE egg that comes out every couple of months.

Just saying, I don't think this will work. He won't just stop something because just some of the population disagrees. Just live with it and be glad that you know new creatures will come out.

Monthlies are optional. If you don't like them don't get them. Their purchase helps the site. So I disagree with the petition. No one is forcing you to get all three. No one is forcing you to get any at all. They were a part of the site a long time. The site has grown since the old days when they were not around. If they take the CS creatures away what then? We must PAY monthly to play? That will force a lot of people to quit.

There are still Christmas Cave creatures on their way. Get pumped for that at least.

It bugs me that when new eggs weren't released (or, well, there were no updates for a long time), people complained.

And now there's the regular release of eggs, lots of new travels, and updated features such as the ability to trade EC... and people still complain. o_O What.

Either way, there will always be those that support something and those that don't. I just don't believe that a petition is the way around this. Egg Cave will continue to grow, and without the Cash Shop it wouldn't be able to.

So I basically agree with everything @gvantsa said. 😊 Egg Cave would be no fun if we had to pay some form of subscription to play it. The CS creatures help keep that option far away. ^^

No, 15 a month if you love all the cs eggs is worse than a subscription. We really need cave eggs also, but that isn't working out so well ATM. All the cave eggs from january this year still trade for almost nothing.

I agree to this petition, I get the whole ian needs profit side of the deal, but I also need new shoes and if eggcave starts getting in the way of that, I will need to quit.

I am not saying no more ccs, but at least space it out or make them on holidays. It gets boring.

Quitting just because you cannot buy CSP eggs? That's ridiculous. Just become a non-CC buyer then if money is your issue. Even I did not start buying CC until around Halloween month of this year. And I've been playing over 2 years. I don't even buy them all. And I would not quit just because I cannot get a few CC eggs for a month or few. Shoes first, eggs later. You should not even have to compare the two options. The eggs are there for a whole month. You can attempt to trade for them instead of buying them. There's ways around it. But no ways around a subscription. Not everyone on Egg Cave is a CC buyer, or even an active one.

There's just... no more excitement.
I KNOW Ian needs to make money, and the CSP is a big player in that, and I NEVER said I didn't want it. I just hate, you know, having around 36 creatures that are CC a year, and knowing when they'll be released. If Ian could add a random factor, every so often he could release a CC or two, I suppose? Just not like the regular schedule we have right now.

The creatures are getting LAME. I swear, if Monthlies stay, we'll have at least 10 cats and 10 dogs.

The Monthlies have been released month after month for a long time now. Usually in 3s. I still find it exciting to see what the next Cash Shop creatures will be, or what the next Egg Cave creatures will be. I look forward to it every month. I wouldn't want a random schedule with one or two released at a random time in the month or one every few months or randomly in the year. Then some creatures would be in the Cash Shop either a longer time or shorter time and people would complain about that too.

Those on breaks or hiatuses may end up even missing out on some creatures because of the random schedule (If they are into collecting CSP creatures).

If you don't like the creatures coming out either aim to get your fellow egg caver's suggestions made as CSP creatures (if you prefer those), make up your own ideas, attempt to bring the artists new ideas on what other unique creatures could be made, or don't buy when you do not like them 😊

I agree with the petition. Three per month is too much. It puts a burden on all the users and it's just a race for rarity.

Plus, if cave creatures come out the same month that's over 5 creatures a month. Our coves will overflow and even if the cove is expanded, it will be harder to feed making things more complicated.

Yes and no.

I think there needs to be a cash shop, but I think they're over-doing it. Somewhere the balance between cave critters and CC has fallen over, where you can't just trade, say five cave critters for 1 cash shop critter.


There //should// be an easier [and fair] way for people who can't afford CC to obtain CC critters.


I think there should be 2/1 cash shop critters per month. Like One one month, and two the next. Vise versa.

For me the site comes first (this is my fave site of all time, no joke). I am not bored of it, and i like the changes it has gone through over these years. When people ask for drastic changes I will of course, as a member of this site, also put forth my opinion. I guess it comes out too strong at times. I love you all and your various opinions my fellow Egg Cavers 😉

I think 3 new limited edition CC eggs per month is too much. One would be all right, but three is hurting the eggconomy for non-CC users.
