Dang, I make so many forum topics. xDAnyways, I drove to a mall in another state to go shopping today, and while I was walking around, I decided to meet up with my mom at Target, which was in the mall.I found her near the Christmas decorations and, I found this beautiful ornament that caugh my eye.It was a peacock. It's a christmas tree ornament; But it's big, it has glitter on the back, it has a large feather on the top of its head and big peacock feathers on the tail, and tiny feathers all over the body.It was so beautiful, it seemed to jump right out at me, so I picked it up and paid for it.While I was holding it, I shortly realized that it reminded me of the Adarna; Shimmering wings, feathers on the top of its head, and its head tilted back to look at its long, beautiful tail.Look at the last stage Adarna, then look at this picture of the peacock ornament:http://i43.tinypic.com/mja8gz.jpgAnd yes, I know adarnas are modeled after peacocks, I'm not stupid, thanks for asking. And the two aren't entirely similar. I just thought the overall shape was similar.Comments? I need a good conversation. ^^

Maybe if it was more colorful. They look alike in shape and form though!

Well, peacocks are usually portrayed looking at their beautiful feathers. I've seen real peacocks, no not at a zoo, and they are one of the most prettiest and elegant birds on this planet. But they were looking at their feathers. ;]

When I was little, my family went to some sort of amusement park, and they had peacocks running freely around the park. Most of them stayed in the cage, but the door was open on purpouse because they ran around for fresh air and never tried to escape or attack anyone. They're usually pretty friendly and independent. If you google "Peacock bird" and look at the images, most of them are big peacocks with their feathers spread out.Peacocks really are amazingly beautiful creatures. That's why I love them so much. My new fave animal. ;D

@dreamerI went to a place like that, the Beardsley Zoo, and the peacocks were really pretty. I chased one away because I was 3 XD

@dreamer Once when I was like 4 we went to a scetchy roadside place for a bathroom while we were taking a road trip. The place sold Orstiges. Like the real thing. I picked up a crab apple a good way away from the fence and one spread it's sings and shot it's head at my hand to get the apple and bit me. âšī¸Sorry for my little random story. XD

I remembered over a year ago at this small gift shop near a cavern me and my dad visited during our vacation, I saw a peacock couple wondering freely around the place. They were gorgeous birds. I tried to imitate them from the calls I heard from peacocks on nature programs, but they didn't respond. They did look like they've aged but they still looked happy.

I've seen peacocks before and they're kinda arrgressive. I mean, the look beautiful, but if you go near them, they attack. *has bad experience*-----Anyways, the picture looked like the Adarna.
