I nodded begrudgingly, still not wanting to be subjected to listening to another. She was older obviously, I was one of the younger ones. I hated that. I could find my own way. I didn't need a partner.How did she even know what I was thinking anyway? Some kind of weird power.

@deannablanco3 Okay, now that's a bit of God-modding. Guessing the exact things she's saying? -.-'What the heck? She wasn't even a mind reader. That didn't matter now, though. We were working indirectly together, thank God she wasn't my partner, but we work for the same... whatever you wanted to call it.Daring bits of words and phrases were threatening to burst the dam that I held, biting my lip angrily.
