People are allowed to have their own opinions/views on things, and if they want to promote or not promote a site or a product then they have every right to do so. It's called your 1st Amendment rights--the right to freedom of speech, so long as it is within the confines of the Constitution, and in this case, the author of the site has every right and reason to post what she did. You see this in politics constantly.

The key is to not be so offended about it. If you like the site, then why does it matter what one person or one group says? If you get so butt-hurt over simple things like this, then you're going to have quite a difficult time in the real world. By the way, this post is not directed towards anyone in specific. I'm posting this for everyone and anyone to read.

After I sold my soul to Egg Cave over two years ago, a few things I learned when crossing haters is to not feed the flame, just keep laughing and enjoying the company of others who love Egg Cave as well 😋

It's not gonna kill us if they hate it :] We're probably better off without those users who will moan all the time about how terrible the site is.

Their taste is much different, half of those sites they consider to be 'the best' are crap, users are full of themselves and do nothing but tear down others, and if one of their "friends" has a bad relationship or history with you, they'll just be cruel and harsh. Egg cave has changed sense that 'journalist' wrote that report, that's just their cruddy opinion, but oh well, Im doubtful anyone really reads or pays attention to that crap anyway/

To be honest, you're just making it worse. I'm not trying to side with her, but you look like immature people complaining. Look at her comments (bottom of the page on the site).

You just need to get over it guys. Not everyone loves Egg Cave. I know some people quit because of that.
