okay, theres this guy, hes my best friend, and i really like him, but don't know if i should ask him if he likes me or just hold it in. i mean, im not sure if i should risk it, but ive known him for 14 years, and i really love him. i just need some advice please.

I wouldn't ask him, I would just start to approach slowly. Act closer than usual. But I have no really experienced advice. Never really felt like that.

I agree with meixiaotan. Get closer and be a little obvious about it. If he does the same then keep going with it.

@deannablanco3I experienced that, and I think you shouldn't ask him...Try making him feel that you like him and at the right moment just pretend to joke around and tell him you like him... or try talking to him about love then ask advice from him, and wait until you have the guts to confess the only problem is your friendship...

@deannablanco3My friends usually ran to me for advice and lots of them experienced that... All I can say is that try to spend as much time with him, make him feel that you are there for him and when he starts a topic about love(boys rarely do that), just make the conversation long without telling him that you like him (not just yet, timing is everything).Then try to get conversations like that as many as possible, anyways its all up to you to find the right time. Just keep asking him what he likes in a girl ^-^

@deannablanco3I tried that over the summer with my best friend for 7 years. I played it off like I was saying I love her as a friend.

@deannablanco3But then she started hanging out with this stuck-up girl and we don't see each other in school anymore so we're not as good of friends. And in that post, I forgot to say she didn't like me.

@deannablanco3 well...I don't think it'll be good to like, confess. You should hang out with him more often, but don't tell him that you like him. Maybe you could try to give hints, and see if he likes you.

@DawnieIdk, i just want to. I sometimes have crushes, but mostly they are gone in no time and seeing all those lucky and loving people just makes me sad and lonely. A girl who loves me and i can love too is like my dream...

@Miomar ..The worst part is the wait. Sometimes it can take years before you even realize you love someone. But it will be well worth the wait, trust me. Just take your time, you won't find the right person immediately. But you'll know when you've found them, and you'll wonder why you didn't realize sooner. It may have taken 5 years, but I found the love of my life. You'll fine yours too, in time. Don't give up. Good luck. 😊
