She was pushed roughly into the crowd and knocked one kid over. "Sorry!" She gasped, helping them up. Then she froze. Out of the corner of her eye she saw ivy creeping through a crack in the flooring and growing up the brick wall. She watched, memorized as it turned the wall green and leafy. Then she felt tugging around her ankle. Startled, she looked down. A vine was climbing her leg. She tried to pull her leg free, and encountered no resistance. She fell over.

Chase continued muttering under his his breath as he sat on the ground in the large room with the other crazies caught trying to escape.
He felt something hit him just before he heard a muffled *thump* beside him. He growled quietly...

She got up quickly, embarrassed. Some people were looking at her but she supposed they didn't really care as they are crazy themselves. She heard a low growl and spun around. Security guard?

Chase stared back at the girl standing in front of him. It was the girl from before, the one trying to destroy the room.

She stared for a moment, then helped him up. "How? The windows are barred, the walls are brick, there are freaking security guards everywhere..." Don't freak out, don't freak out, don't freak out...

He stared at her for moment as she began freaking out.
" Don't mind the guards, they're not geniuses like us. 'Sides just cause we're in one of those Insane places don't mean we're all completely insane. Besides, I'm 'insane' because..." He began toggling with the door lock once again.
"Say, why do you think these people only collect the smart ones? Why only insane geniuses?"

Emily stood in the alley way next to her singing and dancing building, "American Arts" The freezing cold bit at her skin. Like ants taking the sugar from the pile, Emily's energy was being sapped away by the cold.

Breathing became hard and her throat was dry, she stepped up to the water fountain she was next to an took as sip, quickly slipping on a patch of ice afterwards. She knocked the breath right out of her lungs and her diaphragm was contracting rapidly.

She reached in her rhinestone jeans just to notice that the inhaler was over in a nearby puddle. She struggled to reach it in time when a stranger picked it up, smiled at her while examining her and ran away. She took a quick breath then headed back to school, back to normality or maybe the opposite.

He glanced over his shoulder momentarily as he picked the lock with a stolen nail file.
"Huh, a genius guessing? You know what's funny though? Most us who try to act normal go insane. Those who pretend to be insane... well that's another story. But you know what else? Every once in a while, one of the smarter & insane ones disappear. First they don't show up to class & meals as often, then poof," He waved his arms around like a magician "they're gone. Like they never exsisted."

Grayce snuck in the window to the room Chase and a girl was locked in instead of going to boring class, being a senior helped with privlages. She overherd some of the convo. "Hello everyone whatcha doing?" She turned quickly and shreiked than turned back around and smiled.

Emily walked in only to see a new girl, great another girl to freak out the other children.

You see, when there is a new person in the building, particularly after they were just becoming used to the other people in the school, the children flip out. It has happened so many times and Emily was excited to see it this time, especially because the full moon was approaching and people tend to freak out during the full moon even without new people.

"Hello, I am Emily. And you are?" She said with fake cheer in her voice.

Right bang into a security guard. Her instinct kicked in and she punched him it the face, whirled around back into the room and closed the door behind her. "Right, let's try the other one."

Erik took off his backpack. "Acid enriched lemon bars." Upon the look of concern in the group he explained," They are for my foods class, the subject was sour food, so I went above and beyond. They will burn right through the bars."
