Chase leapt out of the car and began walking away.

She had always known it was just her anyway. Never rely on others. She had no right to be surprised. But she was slightly disappointed. Then she remembered how annoying they were. She decided to go south, through Mexico and on. Argentina sounded good.

Chase flinched as he heard the screach of a car. But it couldn't be Britney's... He grimaced at what he saw, a car filled with young adults slightly older than him, coming down the street to him.
How long could they possibly remember me, he thought.
Without a seond thought, he ran in the direction that he saw Britney's car going.

She realized Posha was still in the car, pulled over, pushed her out and drove on.

Chase slowed down to a stop as he saw Britney's car drve away, even faster now.
So there will be no warning, he thought for a moment.
A hand grabbed his shoulder but Chase didn't turn around.
"What took you so long?" a familiar voice said behind him. It was older now, but he could still recognize it.
"None of you people are leaving this town just yet. That car ain't gonna go far, so don't you worry..."

Posha dusted herself off and muttered, "Poopface..." She started jogging in the direction Britney drove from, she could see Chase, a teensy little person, in the distance.

Chase turned around. He was right, it was them people. He didn't want to get mixed up with them anymore, but here he was agian with Them people.
"Down First street. Took a left on Mason." the guy said to another on his cellphone
The guy turned back to Chase. "You going to come with us or what?"

Two cars pulled out, following the car Britney was driving.
It was slowly getting darker now, as twilight began to set in. There was no longer any need to be stealthy, they simply used force as they did many times before...

Posha saw Chase surrounded by a bunch of ghetto looking gangster people. She inwardly shuddered. Bleh. Posha hated those kinds of people. She swiftly walked up to Chase and said, "Mom says you need to clean your room! If you don't come home, she say's she's gonna call the cops!" in a desperate attempt to get Chase away.

A car sped ahead of her, swiftly, easily blocking her path.
The other car remained on one side. As they approached the brick wall of a building, it slammed her car into it...

Chase glanced up at Posha with tired eyes and didn't respond.
He got up, stuck his hands in his pocket and slowly walked in the direction that Britney's car had went.

Chase paused as he heard quiet footsteps following him and turned around to confront her.
"Quit following me." Chase growled.

"Hey. Subject secured. Yeah, yeah, she's fine. She'll be knocked out for a good few minutes, but no injuries this time round. She's got one o' them good cars. We'll be there in a bit. Later."
