Facebook is now my number 7. I think it's ruined as many lives as it has 'improved'. I actually had to read a story in my English class about this one girl who had a friend set up a party invitation through Facebook and it got rejected by a lot of people, so the girl blamed her friend and BURNED her house down. Yeah, Facebook is not so good. Plus you can get sucked in and it can damage your actual real life relationships. Nerimon invented Real Life - I think some people should play it more often. (anyone who knows what I'm talking about is an awesome person) 😃

Overrated things
1) Beiber. WHY DO THEY LIKE HIM!??! HE IS A FAIL.
2)...Chuck Norris. Yep. I said it. Chuck Norris is overrated.

... You know, I keep getting annoyed when I read "Pokemon" on this thread, since I've been a Pokemon fan all my life, but... you guys are right. It's seriously getting overrated, especially the anime. (Plot devices galore in that Zoroark movie. I just watched it, Zorua was nearly a copy of Shaymin.)

Another overrated thing? Most memes. No one can help using them, though. xD

Also.. (against the norm!).. I think Phineas and Ferb is overrated. I'm not all too impressed by it. I miss cartoons from my day like Rocko's Modern Life and the Angry Beavers. ☹️

And one more thing... BEING GROWN UP!!! OMG responsibilities, bills, and going to work. BOOOOO. x.x

I believe that nothing is overrated, things such as being random and pokemon is something that has simply come into our lives for us to enjoy and that something that may be 'overrated' to someone can be quite appealing to another.

I think that we should be happy about all the things life brings us and if someone wears feathers in their hair or uggs, then so be it.

As long as it makes them happy, I wont mind.

After all, we are all different and have our own opinions but I believe that people should not go around saying that stuff is 'overrated' or boring.

If you dont like it you dont have to go off and blab about it everywhere.

I respect your opinions but if you have nothing nice to say, dont say- simple as that.

What I do think of as just plain silly is when people go off insulting people or talking behind their backs, just shut your mouths and keep it to yourself.

And saying 'no offence' after something that would insult someone, obviously they are going to get insulted.

Once again, if you have nothing nice to say- dont say it.

Cussing repeatedly. It shows that you lack the knowledge and vocabulary to come up with an actual insult.

I hate it when people say, "This (insert inanimate object here, like a pencil) is so GAY!"

I half-agree with @crescentfeather.....

I mean, my friend @fujibaka is random. Like seriously. Enough to blurt out random comments in class. And yes, we do sometimes use the word 'retarded', but we never mean it to insult people. What I HATE is using the word 'retarded' to describe PEOPLE - unnecessarily insulting. I mean, I've used that word a couple of times before, but it's pretty overrated, you know? As well as, frankly, insulting... :l

@zaferyry is spot-on: I used to be a figure skating coach, and one of my students did a routine to an Alvin and the Chipmunks song. Our lessons were at 6: 30 in the morning, and I could barely stand them.

Overrated and hating are two entirely different thing.

Like avatar(yea, the blue ppl) I mean, I think the film is good, however I think it gets too much credit.

That's overrated.
Hating populair things is not what overrated means.

But it seems to be all the rage on DA, so idk.
Breakfast of Champions (a Vonnegut novel. Seriously, why critics consider this one of his best, at least better than Slapstick, is beyond me. It's a bunch of hormonal 13-yo boy caliber jokes and drawings wrapped into one package. And I love Kurt Vonnegut)

I don't use the word "overrated" because others have a right to enjoy things, too, including things that I might not find so enjoyable. If I dislike something, I'd simply say I disagree with it. ;]

But I think anime is kind of underrated. People go around saying things like "I hate anime" and whatnot. xDD

I completely agree about facebook, @qwerty732797. I've deleted mine because I see the entire thing as a social construct that supports the invasion of personal privacy--not my thing.

I actually have a friend who got a Facebook because everyone pressured her to, and she accidentally forgot to fill in the birthdate info, so it auto put her bday as the next day. So all of her friends, actual people she knows in real life, sent her bday wishes just because they got an alert from Facebook, when most of them know her bday wasn't then.

It's so stupid. Facebook keeps you from having real relationships. 😋
