And no. It happened to BOTH of my computers.

Came from something called "betrid.com/news".

I mentioned Google Chrome also as have others 😋 Give others a try. There's also Opera. IE is not safe to use. Firefox isn't even as fast as G.Chrome. And even Firefox sometimes freezes up on me.. so I like G.Chrome better.

^Prob by now IE is better but still would avoid it at all costs.

Hi there,

As of right now (after confirming with multiple sources), Egg Cave is virus and malware free. However, there have been a batch of inappropriate ads (from Google) that have been displaying on Egg Cave, which we're in the process of trying to block. If you do ever happen to see any of these inappropriate ads, please report in the destination URL via a Ticket immediately.

It is entirely possible that anti-virus software flag anything inappropriate (i.e. sexual) as a virus, which is why some of you might be receiving this warning. Different content filters operate differently.

If any of you have any more questions or concerns, please submit in a Ticket. But for now, this topic shall be closed.
