"Scrub the floors until they shine!" Master Lener ordered. As Charlotte began scrubbing, he left.
Charlotte smiled. About a month ago, Master Lener's son James had made her a deal, just for fun. Every time she finished a task his father had set in less than twenty-five minutes, he would sneak her a little something from his dinner. Thus, she worked harder than most slaves her age, and Master Lener was appreciative of her work, and she hardly ever got flogged.

Sarah was fed her 3 crakers and was given some water with it. She only ate 2 of the crackers and wraped the other one in a cloth, placing it under the cupboard with everything else she had under there. Sarah licked he lips after she finished the 2 crackers and slurped up some water.

Dark snuck her some bread. "shh, you need to eat it. ill take the blame." She says, giving it to her as the cook yells in the kitchen. "who stole some of the bread?!" "i did, dark yelled back.

Silic slowly rose up from the ground as she was smacked across the cheek. She fell to the floor with a thud once again whilst the man threw her a toothbrush. "I want you to clean the toilets today!" He cried, and left. She picked up the toothbrush feebly and crawled towards the toilets with as much strength she could muster.

Sarah bit of a little more than half of tye bread and placed the rest of it under the cupboard with the cracker. "For an emergency." she said quietly, pushing the food in deeper under the cupboard.

Charlotte hummed to herself as she worked. She was about halfway done already, and it had only been ten minutes so far. Besides, scrubbing was kinda fun. She liked to do it until she could see her reflection.

Sarah gets up from behind the cupboard and sees her master in the hall with a whip in his hand. "the queen says for you to mop her throne room floors." I sigh "Fine..." i mumble to him. "Get going!" my master cracks his whip at the back of my head and i fall to the ground. "I said go!" Sarahs master yelled. I get up and run to the queens throne room.
