Are Paperclip trades allowed o EggCave?

If you don't know what they are, there are some on Neopets.

You start with a cheap item or creature, someone else offers something that is a little bit more rare, and the chain continues until soon, you may end up with a nice rare or cc for yourself.

But I don't know if they're allowed? I'd really like to start a couple, I have some creatures I don't need and I'd like to do something fun with 'em. ;D
