I stand up quickly, not expecting the shift. I had known Zakhara my whole life and had yet to see his elf/human form.

"Poppy," He starts, speaking out loud. "Yes, the war is going to happen..."

I go pale, a little scared.

Dimitri: "Arya.. I won't just leave you here to tough it out."

Zakhara: He notices me wince, "Who's that, Poppy?"

Poppy: "A friend.." I say quietly, hoping that Axel would stay in the camp.

Zakhara: He quickly runs into the camp.

Poppy: I come in right behind him and grab his wrist, trying to pull him back. "Zakhara!" I hiss at him.

Zakhara: He turns and growls, "I had asked you who that was that yelled. You didn't tell me." He says, not caring to keep his voice quiet.

Zakhara: He pulls me closer to him as I try to resist. "Who is your friend, Poppy?" He growls, "I know that he's here."

Poppy: "I'm no going to tell you, Zakhara!" I say, forgetting about being quiet.

Zakhara: "Poppy... I hope you haven't gone against our pact. You know how I get when I'm angry..."

Poppy: I wince, trying to pull away. "I'm sorry Zakhara... I.. I've found s-someone else..." I whisper, wincing again.

Zakhara: "What?! Poppy, you are my SOULMATE. Do you NOT realize that?"

Zakhara: He growls and gives me the smallest kiss on the lips ten pulls away and motions to the space between us. A silver thread appears between us. "See? The proof is right there..."

Poppy: I stare at the thread.

Zakhara: He growls, "Poppy. Don't mess with me. I don't want to have to dig the answer out of your mind...."
