My parents grounded me on my birthday and on top of that my beloved kitten- yes, kitten- died of lung cancer that day. Now every other birthday I have is also the death of Sockie.

On my birthday, my mom got me a lurid pink puffy jacket with sparkly butterflies and flowers that didn't even fit. It was the only gift I got.

@dawnie My dad forgot my birthday...(I think. he said he didn't, but I'm pretty sure he was lying.) When I asked him if he knew what day it was, he said,"Thursday". =_="

People forgot mine all the time. And what makes it worse? There is a girl with the same birthday as mine who goes to my school. EVERYONE says happy birthday to her, they cheer, give her presents, be all 'WOOP-DE-DOO YOU'RE OLD NOW.' Honestly, why can't just one person besides my family say happy birthday to me? I feel so unimportant in my school. ;-;
