Importing pictures and images?

in Chit-Chat

Is there an easier way to transport them than doing it one at a time? Because I got a new laptop, and I have to import my old pictures and videos to my new one and there's A LOT. Like about a thousand. Not even joking. Is there any easier way? I doubt it, but it's worth a try. xD

EDIT: WOOPS, I meant to put pictures and VIDEOS*
UGH DX

@dawnie

Ctrl+click
Or put them in a folder or zip thing (my dad did this once)
And transfer

I just put everything on a external harddrive and copied the folders to my new laptop O.o

One by one...

I'd be busy for a year copying my manga files XD

@dawnie

Then how are you getting them from one laptop to the other? O.o

@dionaea What I've been doing is I've been going on Tinypic on one laptop and then going on my other laptop and going to the link and saving the picture. But it comes to my attention my arm will fall off before all of the pictures are on my new one.

._.

@dawnie

For the sake of your arm I agree with Whitefall, zip yer files girl XD A free archiving program I know of is Winrar (not winzip, that one stinks DX) though you'll probably have to either keep your archives relatively small or upload em to a different online storage service, I think there are plenty which have free accounts with decent space.

@dawnie Highlight and copy them all. Then paste it on the folder you want to save it on or to.

@hayz

Tons on my harddisk B) I got most of mine at MangaTraders, since I'm lazy, but these days I usually download directly from the scanlators 😊
