I am sure this has been brought into light, but...

? Delete any comment in the thread YOU made

? Edit TITLE

? Delete a whole thread

? Block a comment so no one can see it

? Font options

I definitely agree with the editing title part. (:

However, I must disagree with deleting comments in your thread. If a comment breaks the rules, a mod or admin can deal with it. I can see a lot of conflict that deleting other user's posts might bring.

I also have to disagree with the ability to delete your threads - while I see how it might be useful, I think, to keep things neat, only mods and admins should be able to delete threads and posts. If you'd like your thread deleted, you can send in a ticket. ^^

By blocking a comment, do you mean a profile comment? And are you referring to comments you wrote, or anyone's?

Font options would be nice, but I truthfully think the Egg Cave forums should be kept simple. :] I would love bold, underline, ect. though. ^^

? Delete any comment in the thread YOU made, No

? Edit TITLE, YES

? Delete a whole thread, NO

? Block a comment so no one can see it, NO

? Font options, Yes

The ones with the "No" is because the comment/thread may have something important without you knowing. Said from Ian in a different way.

@ladybugheart @chloekins but what if its a trading thread and to prevent it from getting too crowded people can delete previous trade offers? maybe only delete comments in the trade forums?

@candy_girl_1298
If someone wants another post deleted, I think it's best to leave it to the mods and admins. ^^

I only support two of the options: Font options(I suggested this as well) and title editting 😊.

@blackrose_chan @cubexline @ladybugheart @candy_girl_1298 @chloekins @ladybugheart

Sending in a ticket for each and every little thing?
Well I guess so, but I'm sure they only want to remove
the ones that may go against the ToS.

Say for example like @candy_girl_1298 said it is a trading thread and there is over 100 comments, I need to make 100 tickets for each one to be deleted? I would feel bad bothering them for that.

For space and neatness I would prefer to delete my own threads lol

Thank you all, great feed back 😊
Maybe when I am more awake I will reword them and tweak the ideas. Also, very sorry for reusing other's ideas.

I don't see any reason why someone would need to delete a post that doesn't break the rules. (:

You could easily make a new thread, or simply make a ticket asking to have all comments deleted. :]

Anyway, I think being able to delete other's posts would bring a lot of conflict. If there is a problem, the mods and admins will fix it. It's their job, and I think they'd be the most responsible people to handle it. ;]

If you start deleting threads, the post count would go on a rollercoaster ride xD

Delete comments ~ Nah, you can already edit them...

Edit title ~ Yes 😃

Delete thread ~ No, for the same reasons @ladybugheart posted

Block comment ~ No, it's basically like deleting...? o_O

Font options ~ Yes, but to a limit. Like just italics, bold, slash, underline/ small, normal, large letters... / color options

Edit title would be great- grammatically incorrect titles bother me so much more than they should. It would be nice to make them fixable. As for the other ideas, I can't say I support them.

I support all.

I think when you post a topic you should have more power to keep things clean. Specially when the topic it's more then one page.

I don't get why people don't like the deleting option. I would hate if anyone could delete all. But if you can manage just your topic it wouldn't be so many posts and it would be easier to find things.
