Starstream felt a sense of urgency. "Wait here," she told Pridekit. She ran off, and found Wolfclaw running towards Tornclan. "Stop! Wait up!" she called.

Starstream pounced on Wolfclaw again, and pinned him down so he couldn't escape. "We made a pact. We became partners, even before Foxfur joined. We became..." her voice was choked with tears. "Friends," she whispered. "We were friends. We ARE friends. Please tell me. I want to help..."

A dribble of blood went down WolfClaw's cheek, One of his own claws was in his chest. "Because my story......dosn't deserve it" His own voice was choked by tears.
